These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between

("the Company," "we," "us") and the client ("the Client," "you") regarding the home
remodeling and painting services ("the Services") we offer. By hiring our Services,
you accept and agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Quotes and Contracts

Quotes: All quotes are estimates based on the information provided by the Client. Prices may vary if unforeseen issues are discovered (e.g., structural damage, mold, plumbing or electrical problems) or if the Client requests additional changes to the original scope of work.

Acceptance: A quote is considered accepted and becomes a binding contract once the Client signs it and/or makes the agreed-upon initial payment.

Changes to the Work: Any changes or additions to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties and may result in an adjustment to the cost and project timeline.

2. Client Obligations

  • Access to the Work Site: The Client must ensure safe and unobstructed access to the property for the Company and its workers during agreed-upon work hours.
  • Utilities: The Client is responsible for providing access to electricity and water at the work site, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Protection of Belongings: The Client must move and protect any furniture, belongings, or valuable items not covered in the contract before the work begins. The Company is not responsible for damage to belongings that have not been properly moved or protected.
  • Pets: The Client must keep pets in a secure area, away from the work site, to ensure the safety of both the workers and the animal.

3. Payments and Billing

  • Initial Payment: An initial payment of [percentage, e.g., 50%] of the total quote is required before the work begins to secure materials and the start date.
  • Partial Payments: For long-term projects, partial payments may be scheduled as the work progresses, as specified in the contract.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid upon project completion and to the Client's satisfaction, before the Company's team leaves the property.

4. Cancellation

  • Cancellation by the Client: If the Client cancels the contract after signing and/or making the initial payment, the initial payment will not be refundable, as it covers administrative costs, project planning, and the loss of other potential jobs.
  • Cancellation by the Company: If the Company is unable to complete the work due to circumstances beyond its control, a pro-rated refund will be issued to the Client for the unfinished work.

5. Warranty and Claims

  • Workmanship Warranty: We offer a warranty of [number of months or years, e.g., 12 months] on our labor, covering defects such as peeling, blistering, or flaking of the paint, provided the work was done on a properly prepared surface. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by the Client or third parties, or problems resulting from an unstable substrate (e.g., moisture, leaks).
  • Claims: Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period and must include a detailed description of the problem and photographs. The Company will inspect the work and, if the issue is deemed to be covered, will repair it at no additional cost to the Client.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Company's liability for any direct damage arising from our Services will be limited to the total cost of the project.

We will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
